Through the years

  • Since 2011, Travolunteers already held eight outreach activities around the Philippines.
  • In 2011, the group conducted its first outreach activity with the Aeta community in Capas, Tarlac with a community immersion and a gift-giving program.
  • The team held a gift-giving and a kiddie party for the elderly in 2012 in a retirement home in Bataan. Jollibee cheered up our lolos and lolas during the event.
  • A back-to-school outreach program was conducted by the group in Dumaguete in 2013 where 230 students received bags with school supplies. A screen projector was also donated to the school.
  • In 2014, Travolunteers held two outreach activities. The team helped four families in Kalibo rebuild their homes that were damaged by a typhoon. A medical mission for children and a community gift-giving program was also held in the same area. The other activity in 2014 was a fun in the farm program for the grade school students of a public elementary school in Pampanga. A small salo-salo, games, and school kits were given to the kids. Wheel chairs were also given to differently-abled members of the community.
  • In 2015, the team provided a public elementary school in Narra, Palawan with a computer laboratory. An orientation and short training were provided to the teachers while students of the school joined in the games organized by the group.
  • Last year, a day care center damaged by earthquake was renovated. The elementary students of Villalimpia Elementary School also received school bags and supplies.
